Lobios is one of the beneficiaries, together with the Ourense municipalities of Bande, Cortegada and Muíños and the Portuguese municipalities of Melgaço and Terras de Bouro, of the European project Raia Termal.

The Hydrographic Confederation of the Miño-Sil reported yesterday the placement of the pedestrian footbridge over the Caldo river, in the municipality of Lobios. The new infrastructure is one of the actions included in the European project Raia Termal, whose board of directors met recently to analyze the degree of execution of the projected works and the deadlines to execute the pending ones, among which this crosswalk was included.

From the basin organization informed that, in the next few days, the intervention will be completed with the installation of the handrails of the access ramp, as well as with small interventions related to the modification of the layout of the existing pedestrian path and the reconstruction of the hole made in a wall.

Lobios is one of the beneficiaries, along with the Ourense municipalities of Bande, Cortegada and Muíños and the Portuguese of Melgaço and Terras de Bouro, of the European project Raia Termal endowed with 2.6 million euros and that, in the province, is led by the Diputación de Ourense and the Confederación Hidrográfica.
