The Raia Termal project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) through the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020 programme.


 Interreg VA Spain-Portugal cooperation programme promotes development along Europe’s longest border


The space is organized in 6 areas of cooperation, the project Raia Termal is framed in the zone Galicia-North of Portugal.


POCTEP 2014-2020 is active in five main areas or thematic objectives:

– Promote research, technological development and innovation.
– To improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
– Promote adaptation to climate change in all sectors.
– Protect the environment and promote resource efficiency.
– Improve institutional capacity and efficiency of public administration.


Among the actions it promotes are:

– Actions in favour of research, development and innovation.
– Actions related to business development and the promotion of quality employment.
– Actions in the field of the environment and energy and ecological infrastructures.
