The Lobios Spa will host an International Thermal Congress on 17 and 18 September

This congress was presented this morning at the Government Sub-delegation in Ourense by the president of the Miño-Sil Hydrographic Confederation, José Antonio Quiroga, and the vice-president of the County Council of Ourense, Rosendo Fernández.

The president of the CHMS indicated that it will be a “space of reflection” to approach the “importance of the sector” where he advocated for “to emphasize the social value of the thermal sector and to make visible the socioeconomic impulse of the thermal areas”.

For his part, the vice-president of the Provincial Council, Rosendo Fernandez, opted for “cooperation isntitucional” to “dynamize territories and address the demographic challenge. To this end, he stressed that spas are “a source of dynamization of the territory.

The Congress “Thermalism 2021-2027” will have three official languages – Spanish, Portuguese and English – and will count on the presence of two Secretaries of State – the Secretary of State of Tourism of Portugal and the Secretary of State of Environment of the Government of Spain.
