23 Dec Raia Termal advances in the definition of cross-border tourist packages

Last 20th December the partners in the project Raia Termal had a new meeting to evaluate the advances in the design and creation of three cross-border thermal tourist packages that act as dynamizing elements of an attractive and new tourist offer of the destination “Raia Termal”.

This working day was carried out in two different settings, the first in the Hotel Lusitano (Lobios); there the company contracted for this purpose, made an exhaustive presentation of the work carried out for the preliminary diagnosis – location and potential of the areas in terms of leisure, catering and other services, target audience, etc. – as well as the design sketch of the three tourist packages entrusted.

At mid-morning, the group moved to the Centro de Animação Termal (Terras de Bouro), where a group of international experts presented cases of good practices and all the assistants had the opportunity to make suggestions for the improvement of the design and the implementation of the designed tourist products, whose objective is the impulse, the divulgation and the suitable promotion of the Spanish-Portuguese tourist destination Raia Termal.

The Raia Termal project is co-financed at 75% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)-operational programme INTERREG V-A Spain Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020.
