Raia Termal supports the Valorization of the thermocultural tourism in the Camiño Miñoto

The Third International Water Congress entitled “Water, society and territory”, organised by the Faculty of History and members of the GEAAT Research Group of the Ourense Campus (UVigo), was held in Ourense from 25th to 27th October. In the frame of the same one, the RAIA TERMAL Project included a parallel session under the title “Valorización del turismo termocultural en el Camiño Miñoto”, that counted with a round table on the “Intereses del sector termal en crear productos turísticos asociados al Camiño Miñoto en el territorio RAIA TERMAL” during the 26th.

This round table was moderated by Mr. Luis Avelino de Francisco Martínez (Mayor of Cortegada and president of the Camiño Miñoto Association); Mr. Javier Soto (General Director of Grupo Caldaria); Ms. Rosário van Zeller (Administrator of the Termas do Gêres); Ms. Carina Pinto da Costa (Xerencia do Parque Termal do Peso) and Ms. Eva Álvarez (Director of Cortegada Termas).

The main objective of the 3rd International Congress on Celebrating Water was to offer a meeting point for debating and exchanging knowledge on aspects related to water, from a multidimensional perspective, both within and outside the Iberian Peninsula. This congress has presented a multidisciplinary character, analysing specific aspects on the historical, artistic and geographical reality of water and the human being in different territories and societies.
