The Raia Termal project opens the doors to the future of thermalism in Termatalia-Uruguay with the presentation of the first ‘thermal digital card’

The Diputación de Ourense, through the project “Raia Termal”, funded by the INTERREG Spain-Portugal programme, advances in the thermalism industry by presenting the first “thermal digital card” at the Termatalia International Fair in Uruguay. This innovation represents a milestone in thermal wellness and promises to transform the user experience.

The “thermal digital card” is the result of the vision and commitment pursued by the Raia Termal project to make thermalism more accessible, efficient and enriching. With this card, users have access to updated information on the provincial public thermalism programmes, exclusive promotions supported by the provincial institution and a faster and safer identification in the thermal centres.

During his visit to the Termatalia fair, the president of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle, had the opportunity to explore closely this innovation, which stands as the first of its kind in the spa industry. The director of the Welfare area of the Diputación de Ourense, José Juan Cerdeira, guided President Lacalle through the details of this cutting-edge technology.

José Juan Cerdeira commented: “The ‘thermal digital card’ is testament to the Diputación de Ourense’s unwavering commitment to excellence in thermal wellness. We are excited about the opportunity that this innovation represents for our industry and for those seeking the highest quality wellness”.

This launch at Termatalia-Uruguay demonstrates Raia Termal’s prominent position in the wellness industry, leaving an impression that will last and mark a significant milestone in the development of modern thermalism.
