You can now apply for the Erasmus Rural Scholarship “RAIA TERMAL”

You can now apply for one of the Erasmus Rural Interreg Interr Interreg “Raia Termal” grants, from the Interreg VA Spain-Portugal Program (Poctep), 2014-2020, ERDF. To make the registration you must fill out the application and submit it through the Rexistro Xeral of the Deputation of Ourense, attaching the copy of the accreditation card of being unemployed.

They are 20 individual scholarships of formation framed in the Project Raia Termal, a project of development of the thermal tourist destination of the Galician-Portuguese border, by means of the valorization of the thermal natural spaces, and the joint management and commercialization of the destination.

The purpose of the scholarships is that the participants acquire skills, knowledge and competences within the sectors of activity and resources differentiated and located in the geographical area Raia Termal, formed by the municipalities of Lobios, Bande, Muíños and Cortegada on the Spanish side and Terras de Bouro and Melgaço on the Portuguese side, and, at the same time, provide the geographical area with such human resources in order to result in the professionalization and differentiation of the destination.

The scholarships are non-extendable, their duration will be a maximum of one and a half months and will be developed preferably during the months of July and August of the year 2021. The minimum period of training at the destination will be one month, preferably the month of August. The starting date will be communicated to each beneficiary at the time of awarding the scholarship.

Throughout the duration of the scholarship, the beneficiary will have an individual tutor who will continuously monitor his/her training progress and will attend to any incidents that may arise between the scholarship holder and the entity/company where the training stay is being held. The scholarship includes the receipt of a maximum total economic amount of 1,200 € (one thousand two hundred euros), corresponding to a minimum stay of one month and a maximum of one and a half months.
